Bitcoin influencer Joshua Henslee released a special Ask Me Anything (AMA) to celebrate 5,000 followers on Twitter. It’s a testament to the rapid growth of interest in Bitcoin SV (BSV) and the ecosystem at large. Henslee has been driving much of that interest with his popular YouTube channel.
Do you think Dr. Craig Wright signed for Christen Ager-Hanssen?
For those who don’t know, Henslee explains that Christen Ager-Hanssen is the new CEO of nChain. He recently told how he met Dr. Wright in June and was fascinated by his work. Henslee doesn’t know if Dr. Wright signed for him or not, but he wonders what caused him to be so convinced that CSW is Satoshi in such a short time.
Why should BSV be used for Madam Tulip’sTulip’s psychic readings?
Henslee explains that Madam Tulip is a psychic and tarot platform that launches video consults the same day as the recording. It accepts Bitcoin payments. Henslee says the irreversibility of the transactions, the fact that platforms like PayPal charge excessive fees, and several other factors will have played a role in the platform’s decision to accept Bitcoin.
What does your ‘crypto’ position look like percentage-wise?
Henslee says he doesn’t usually answer these sorts of questions. It’s pretty large, but it’s not an amount that would bankrupt him if it went to zero. While some might think it’s too high, for Henslee, it’s a position he can live with if he loses it all.
What are some good free resources to learn programming and other skills needed to build on the blockchain?
Henslee says he has observed some people come into the industry with no experience, and they have built successful apps. He recommends w3schools.com to learn coding. He likes that you can open a web browser window and start coding, so the barriers to entry are low.
What controls are in place to enforce the ‘set in stone’ narrative and ensure no further protocol changes?
“Honestly, there’s nothing,” Henslee says, clarifying that he means there’s no top-down entity enforcing the rules. He says economics will dictate this. For example, miners will not want to inflate the currency if they’re making lots of money the way things are. He has no problem with some of the original opcodes being reintroduced, but introducing new ones could cause problems, such as changing the order of transactions.
What should the relationship be between listening nodes, mining nodes, software developers, governance orgs, DAOs, etc?
Henslee says that nobody should be running the node software other than miners. For some reason, this is still a controversial statement. Apps and software devs should stop running nodes. He believes software developers need to start working for miners. He says that he doesn’t like the Bitcoin Association trying to act as an arbitrator, and he doesn’t understand how it thinks it has jurisdiction over corporations in various countries.
Thoughts on the beef between Handcash and RelayX?
Henslee says he doesn’t usually comment on this, but he’ll do so this time. He gets why people criticize HandCash, but it also shows they are not thinking. He reminds us that it’s called Handcash and not Handsavings. Coins should be kept in cold storage, and small amounts of cash should be sent for use. As for rumors that HandCash is stealing from users’ wallets, he calls this a “joke.”
How wrecked are you from ZAT tokens and other Zatoshi’ Zatoshi’ investments?
Henslee says he can’t say much about this due to ongoing legal proceedings. He knows this isn’t an ideal answer, but he thinks the answer in itself can shed some light on what’s going on behind the scenes.
What happened to the empty block miner?
The last time Henslee checked, they were occasionally mining empty blocks. TAAL (CSE: TAAL | FWB:9SQ1 | OTC: TAALF) has again taken the prime position after adding hash power. It appears the empty block miner has not sold his coins.
Should I get all of my coins off Robinhood?
Unequivocally yes, Henslee says. “You gotta pay attention,” Henslee answers this user, warning him that he can’t trust exchanges. He urges him not to fall for yield farming scams and tells him to get his coins off all exchanges.
Can CBDCs and P2P digital cash exist simultaneously?
Henslee says that they can co-exist. He believes vast numbers of people will go along with central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), but there are ways to make Bitcoin transactions private and form a sort of resistance to the system that may soon be implemented.
